Once a year Merano is hosting an important meeting of renowned journalists and writers talking about multicultural subjects in the world. The event is organized by Passirio club and the city library of Merano. The Hotel Aurora not only sponsors the event but is also proud to have some of these outstanding personalities as its guest.

Südtirol Festival Merano

It is probably the most important music festival in South Tyrol and internationally renowned. A rich variety of finest performances including classical and baroque music, jazz and world music, chamber and vocal music and concert films are taking place at the Kurhaus only a few steps away from the Hotel Aurora. From the first beginning in 1986 ago we host smooth after concert dinners and have so become the place-to-be for music lovers. Usually a good occasion to meet and applause personally to musicians and conducerts.

We are holding different dinner events at our restaurant throughout the year. Especially looking for new cultural experiences to combine local with foreign cuisine.
